    Mr. Sullivan is Chair of the firm's Agribusiness Practice Group. He holds an LL.M. in Agricultural Law from the University of Arkansas School of Law. Mr. Sullivan advises cooperatives, agricultural suppliers, agricultural lenders, food processors, other agribusinesses and farmers about a variety of matters, including: cooperative formation, governance, finance, taxation, securities compliance, antitrust regulation and contracts; agricultural finance and credit, including secured lending, workouts and bankruptcy; transactions and business planning; participation in USDA Farm Service Agency farm programs; challenges to USDA determinations before the USDA National Appeals Division and federal courts; food safety compliance; land use, farmland protection and agricultural districts; and compliance with the Perishable Agricultural Commodities and Packers and Stockyards Acts.

    Mr. Sullivan has drafted legislation affecting cooperatives, and is a frequent speaker on a variety of agricultural law topics, including the organization and governance of farm cooperatives. He was raised on a dairy farm in Malone, New York.
