Mr. Greener is an intellectual property (IP) attorney who specializes in patents. He works with individual and institutional inventors and administrators to identify patentable inventions and prepare and file patent applications. Mr. Greener also prepares legal opinions on the patentability of inventions, infringement and freedom-to-operate opinions, license and confidentiality agreements, and also advises clients about trade secrets, copyrights and trademarks.

Mr. Greener is also affiliated with the Seed Capital Fund of Central New York (www.scfcny.com). The SCF is a seed stage investment group that invests in university spin-outs and start-up companies. He leverages his 20+ years of IP legal and engineering experience with SCF projects to help identify and facilitate successful funding and investment opportunities.

In addition to undergraduate and graduate degrees in physics and optical engineering, Mr. Greener attended SUNY Alfred Agricultural & Technical College. He was the proprietor of Greener Acres Farm, a Holstein embryo-transfer farming operation, and an independent cattle semen broker. Mr. Greener currently owns CLOUD 17 Vineyard overlooking Keuka Lake, where he grows Cabernet Franc vinifera grapes used by McGregor Winery. He is a member and serves on the management committee of the Seed Capital Fund of Central New York (www.scfcny.com).
