Mr. DeSoyza concentrates his practice in Labor and Employment Law, including the counseling and representation of employers in employment discrimination cases before state and federal courts and agencies, as well as in collective bargaining negotiations, unfair labor practice proceedings, and labor arbitrations. He also regularly assists clients with performance management, discipline and accommodation issues, compliance with employment laws such as the Family and Medical Leave Act, personnel policy and handbook development, and labor relation matters.
