Alyssa N. Campbell
Alyssa focuses her practice on labor and employment law. She represents and advises private and public sector employers and management in a broad range of matters including claims alleging discrimination, harassment, unlawful discharge and retaliation, as well as employee discipline, employment agreements, separation agreements, union campaigns and collective bargaining and labor arbitration disputes. Alyssa regularly deals with labor and employment law matters before both the state and federal courts as well as before administrative agencies, including the EEOC, New York State Division of Human Rights, PERB, the NLRB, federal and state departments of labor, and in labor arbitrations. She also assists employers with immigration issues with a primary focus on business visas and employment-based immigration.
In the higher education context, Alyssa’s practice also includes advising colleges and universities with respect to Title IX compliance (policy development, sexual harassment and sexual misconduct investigations and hearings), as well as accommodating students with disabilities pursuant to Title II and Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
