Administrative Assistant

Bond, Schoeneck & King, PLLC, a law firm of 300 attorneys in more than 30 practice and industry groups, is accepting applications for a full-time Administrative Assistant to support the Property Department in our Buffalo, NY office. The ideal candidate will have the ability to handle a large volume of work, be detailed oriented, and have the ability to prioritize daily tasks and responsibilities.
Position Responsibilities
- Provide support to attorneys in the Property Department and other work as given
- Preparing and proofing correspondence
- Drafting and revising property documents, such as Deeds, Closing Statements, Lease Agreements, and Purchase and Sale Agreements
- Opening and closing files
- Preparing closing binders
- Obtaining information and documentation from outside sources
- Provide general support to various attorneys
- Filing, scanning and other administrative tasks as assigned
Job Requirements
- In-depth working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Strong typing and transcription experience
- Willingness to learn and adapt to Firm needs
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- The ability to interact with clients
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- A background in a Law Firm and/or Real Estate Law is preferred
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administrative position

This position's salary range is between $50,000 to $60,000, negotiable based on years’ experience.
