Graphic Designer

Date: April 29, 2025

Bond, Schoeneck & King PLLC, a law firm of 300 attorneys in over 30 practice groups, is accepting applications for a full-time Graphic Designer in our Syracuse or Buffalo New York office. This position will provide graphic design and production support for both internal and external communications in print and electronic formats.
 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Utilize graphic design software to conceptualize, design, and prepare a wide range of print and digital marketing material including newsletters, advertisements, event invitations, practice profiles, PowerPoint presentations, social media content, custom marketing collateral, and more.
  • Assists in management of the firm's website with supplied text for attorney bios, practice profiles, news, articles, blogs, events, current job opportunities, and general firm content.
  • Provides support in distributing firm memos, blogs, and internal newsletters as needed.
  • Assists with various formatting requests including PDF, Word documents, website articles, blog posts, and Vuture emails.
  • Supports the execution of in-person and virtual firm seminars and events. Formats, produces and packages marketing materials such as event invitations, PowerPoint presentations, literature, attorney bios, firm handouts, promotional items, etc.
  • Maintains, updates, and orders the firm's letterheads, business cards, notepads, holiday cards, etc.
  • Coordinates with outside vendors for various marketing needs, including print collateral, promotional item orders, website troubleshooting, and more.
  • Assists with onboarding of new hires by creating business card mock-ups, drafting web bio previews, and coordinating with photographers to schedule photoshoots.
  • Obtains suitable photos for use in a wide range of marketing media, including photo editing as needed.
  • Supports marketing department in other firm initiatives as directed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, PR, Graphic Design or Communications preferred
  • 3 to 5 years' of Graphic Design experience preferred
  • Proficient experience with Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite, Canva and other appropriate mediums
  • Portfolio of previous work to demonstrate prior work experience
  • A creative eye for detail and ability to comprehend firm brand guidelines and marketing strategies and implement them in visual content.
  • Ability to multitask across a high-volume of projects and adapt to shifting priorities in a deadline driven environment
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills and work in a multi-office team
