Summer Program

Bond conducts an extensive summer program for second-year law students. Students selected to participate in the summer program spend approximately 10 weeks in rotation through at least four departments and/or practice areas of the firm.

Although work assignments focus primarily on research and writing, law students have opportunities to observe and work with members and associates as they engage in their daily practices. Law students can expect to participate in client meetings, judicial and administrative proceedings, and other outside activities during the course of their summer.

The summer program allows law students to become familiar with the firm's practice and people. Through the rotation program and the many social activities scheduled during the summer, law students become acquainted with our attorneys and support staff and gain a realistic insight into life at Bond.

The Recruiting Committee conducts in-depth performance reviews for each summer law clerk, and discusses the performance with the summer clerk. These reviews not only benefit the individual, but assist the Recruiting Committee in preparing employment offers.
