Bond Announces Elections to the Firm's Management Committee

(Syracuse, NY): Bond, Schoeneck & King is pleased to announce Jonathan B. Fellows, Virginia C. Robbins and Philip J. Zaccheo have been elected as new members of the firm's eight member management committee.

Jonathan B. Fellows is a litigation attorney and is co-general counsel of the firm, and a member of the firm's finance and risk management committees. Mr. Fellows has a diverse litigation practice including commercial disputes, complex products liability, employment litigation, white collar criminal defense, civil rights, media law and insurance. He has tried numerous jury cases to verdict in both state and federal courts. Mr. Fellows has handled over one hundred appeals and has argued in the First, Third and Fourth Departments, the New York Court of Appeals and in the United States Court of Appeals for the Second, Sixth and Eighth Circuits. He joined the firm in 1986.

Virginia C. Robbins is an environmental attorney who is chair of the firm's environmental and energy practice group and past chair of the firm's women's initiative. Ms. Robbins is experienced in advising clients on state and federal regulatory compliance issues, particularly in the areas of air and water pollution control, solid and hazardous waste management and waste site remediation. She advises owners and operators of electric power generation facilities and solid waste management facilities, many of which include landfill gas-to-energy plants, on a variety of compliance matters, particularly in the context of facility siting and expansions. Ms. Robbins has also advised clients extensively on real estate transactions involving contaminated properties, including opportunities under New York's Brownfield Cleanup Program. She joined the firm in 1986.

Philip J. Zaccheo is a business attorney and co-chair of the firm's higher education practice, chair of the firm's retirement committee and a member of the firm's diversity committee. Mr. Zaccheo provides general counseling and representation to colleges and universities throughout the United States on a variety of legal issues. He has represented institutions in connection with the negotiation of a wide range of contractual arrangements common to colleges and universities, has served as transactional counsel in connection with mergers, acquisitions, affiliations and similar transactions, and has advised institutions in connection with numerous corporate governance issues and regulatory compliance matters. Mr. Zaccheo joined the firm in 1992.
