In the past two weeks, eight different colleges and universities have been hit with class action lawsuits alleging that excessive fees were paid by retirement plan participants. The eight complaints, filed against Yale, MIT, NYU, Johns Hopkins, Duke, Penn, Vanderbilt and Emory, seek hundreds of millions of dollars in damages.
