Overview

Employers should conduct periodic Human Resource (HR) or employment audits as a proactive measure to ensure that policies and practices are in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws. Audits may also be conducted in response to internal complaints, government agency investigations, or litigation. This Breakfast Briefing will address:

  • The types of audits employers should consider conducting
  • Steps involved with an HR audit
  • Control of disclosure of an audit’s content and findings
