Program
The government continues to ratchet up the threats to health care providers through fraud and abuse enforcement. The Health Care Reform Act includes a provision, which is now taking effect, that requires a complete withhold of Medicaid funding upon a credible allegation of fraud. There are certain limited exceptions. This provision will have serious implications for all health care providers and makes the implementation of effective corporate compliance plans all the more important. This webinar will cover the implications of this new withholding requirement, the exceptions to the requirement, other developing issues in fraud and abuse, and some of the surprising yet recurrent traps for honest health care providers. Finally, the webinar will discuss how to establish your best defense -- a truly effective corporate compliance program.
