More and more in-house counsel are being asked to conduct internal employee investigations to minimize exposure and comply with legal requirements. This program will focus on how to conduct investigations that minimize liability and maximize impact. We will discuss who should conduct the investigation, best practices to follow, and pitfalls to avoid. Bond members David Ferrara and Richard Kass will provide a practical approach to ensuring that internal investigations are thorough, fair, well-documented, and compliant with such federal statutes as Sarbanes Oxley, Title VII and OSHA.
