Michael I. Bernstein Honored by the New York State Bar Association with a Lifetime Achievement Award

(New York, NY): Bond, Schoeneck & King is pleased to announce that Michael I. Bernstein, a member in the firm’s New York City office, has received a coveted Lifetime Achievement Award from the Labor and Employment Law Section of the New York State Bar Association.
Michael is a labor and employment law attorney who represents management in every facet of labor and employment law, both in for-profit and not-for-profit settings.
Michael has been appointed to labor and employment Task Forces of the Governor and Lieutenant Governor of New York, has served on Advisory Committees to the American Arbitration Association, the New York City Commission on Human Rights and the New York State Division of Human Rights, and is a past member of the Second Circuit Credentials Committee of the American College of Labor and Employment Law Lawyers. He is a member of the Executive Committee of the New York State Bar Association Section on Labor and Employment Law, a member of the State Bar Association’s Committee on Diversity and Inclusion and former member of its Committee on Youth Outreach, and is a current member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York Committee on Minorities in the Profession.
Additionally, Michael has served as Chair of the New York State Bar Association Section on Labor and Employment Law, Chair of the New York City Bar Association Committee on Labor Law, and Chair of the American Bar Association Committee on Federal Labor Standards Legislation.
Michael is an active lecturer and author on labor and employment topics, past member of the Editorial Board of a leading treatise on the Fair Labor Standards Act, and past Contributing Editor to major treatises on Labor and Employment Law and Alternative Dispute Resolution.
