New Members Elected In Rochester, Syracuse and Albany Offices

(Syracuse, NY) Bond is pleased to announce the election of four new Members to the firm: Joseph S. Nacca (Rochester), Kseniya Premo (Syracuse), Fred J. M. Price (Syracuse) and Jennifer L. Tsyn (Albany).

Joe concentrates his practice in commercial litigation. He represents clients from a wide variety of industries in matters such as contract disputes, partnership disputes, and disputes regarding breaches of fiduciary duty and fraud. Joe has significant experience representing owners, general contractors, and subcontractors in construction-related disputes, and he has also assisted clients with property disputes and architectural and other professional malpractice claims.

In addition to his experience litigating matters in both state and federal courts, Joe represents clients in commercial and construction arbitrations, as well as in mediation. He has successfully represented clients both at the trial level and on appeal.

Kseniya counsels and represents employers in all areas of labor and employment law. She defends clients against employment-related claims of all types in federal and New York state courts, and before various administrative agencies including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the New York State Division of Human Rights, the United States Department of Labor, the New York State Department of Labor, and the National Labor Relations Board. Kseniya counsels clients on a variety of employment law subjects, including employee discipline and discharge decisions; managing leaves of absence and disability-related issues; wage-hour issues, including overtime and payroll practices; and workforce structuring decisions. Kseniya also assists employers with developing policies and programs, including employee handbooks, conducting internal investigations, and negotiating employment-related agreements.

In addition, Kseniya has substantial experience with business and family immigration issues. Her practice consists primarily of business visas and employment-based immigration for multinational corporations and other organizations. She has experience working with a broad range of companies and employees including manufacturing, financial services, technology and communications, universities, and health care professionals.

Fred is an Intellectual Property and Technology attorney who concentrates his practice on intellectual property law, including patents, trademarks, copyrights and trade secrets. He is a registered patent attorney and has extensive experience preparing and prosecuting patent and trademark applications at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and registering copyrights with the United States Copyright Office. Fred works closely with inventors to prepare patent applications and responses to Office Actions in the fields of nanotechnology, medical devices, fuel cells, alternative and renewable energy, mechanical devices, particle and gas filters, chemistry, entropic activity detection and monitoring systems and computer software systems, among others. He has also worked closely with inventors in reexamination proceedings at the USPTO. Additionally, Fred has experience drafting license agreements, and representing clients in intellectual property infringement actions in federal court.

Jennifer is a Business Law attorney who engages in a diverse practice including corporate and business law matters, real estate matters, liquor licensing, commercial lending, securities law and immigration matters. She advises both individuals and business entities (both publicly-traded and privately-held) on a variety of matters, including contract negotiations, corporate governance and transactional matters (including stock transactions and asset transactions). Jennifer also assists clients with commercial real estate transactions, including leases, purchases and sales. She represents lending institutions, and also represents employers in employment based immigration petitions.
