Webinar: The NLRB’s New Expedited Election Rules – What Do They Mean for Your Organization?
February 19, 2014
Presentation: 10 - 10:45 a.m.
Q&A: 10:45 - 11 a.m.
On February 6 the National Labor Relations Board reissued its controversial proposed rule that would significantly shorten the timetable for union representation elections. The so-called "quickie" or "ambush" election rule was first rolled out nearly three years ago, but political and legal opposition kept it from going into effect until now. With various hurdles to the new rule now cleared, it is widely anticipated that it will actually become effective as early as April of this year.
This webinar will provide key information to any private sector organization that values maintaining a direct working relationship between management and its employees, and we will discuss some steps that your organization can take to prepare for the new playing field.
