Bond’s Melinda G. Disare Recognized as Lawyer of the Year

(Buffalo, NY): Melinda G. Disare, a member of Bond, Schoeneck & King, has been awarded the 2019 Lawyer of the Year Award by the Bar Association of Erie County. The Lawyer of the Year Award recognizes an individual that exemplifies outstanding service and dedication to the legal profession and the bar association. Nominations are solicited from the members of the bar association.

Melinda brings deep knowledge of labor and employment law and a practical and creative problem-solving approach to every matter. She prides herself on her ability to respond quickly to a wide variety of employment related issues for businesses, not-for-profits and municipalities, and provides effective, strategic advice, while always keeping her client’s goals in mind. Melinda concentrates her practice in the representation of public and private employers in connection with labor relations and employment issues.

Active in the Bar Association of Erie County, Melinda has served as President, Vice President, Director, and Chair of the Labor and Employment Law Committee. She also served as a Director of the Volunteer Lawyers Project for six years, including two years as Vice President. Melinda currently serves on the New York State Bar Association House of Delegates.
