Jessica Copeland Joins Bond’s Expanding IP and Cybersecurity Teams

(Buffalo, NY): Bond, Schoeneck & King, PLLC is pleased to announce that Jessica L. Copeland has joined its Buffalo office as a member in the Intellectual Property & Technology; and Cybersecurity & Data Privacy practices.

Jessica advises her clients in all aspects of business counsel, with a focus on intellectual property, technology, data security and privacy. Her experience includes IP litigation, handling transactional aspects of intellectual property including drafting and negotiating licenses, preparing and prosecuting trademark applications, preparing opinions, and conducting due diligence investigations. Jessica also counsels clients on data privacy compliance, incident response strategies, and breach notification requirements. Jessica’s litigation expertise recently earned her a position on the Western District of New York Mediator Panel.

In addition to her client work, Jessica is a frequent lecturer and author on data security and privacy and intellectual property topics. She is a member of the Board of Directors of YWCA of Western New York, Secretary of the Board for IT Buffalo, and Chair of the Women in IP Committee of NYIPLA. Jessica is a graduate of St. John’s University School of Law (J.D.) and New York University (B.A. in Mathematics).
