Craig is an experienced attorney in administrative law, having appeared on numerous matters related to New York’s social services and public health laws.
Craig serves health care facilities and other organizations by providing insight on regulatory and statutory compliance. To date, Craig has assisted clients with needs relating to insurance laws, transfers of charitable organizations, and telemedicine.
Prior to joining Bond, Schoeneck & King, Craig served as an attorney for both state and local governments. At the Department of Social Services of Steuben County, he was involved in solving issues pertaining to Medicaid, public assistance, and family law. Later, at the New York State Department of Health, Craig served as an attorney in the Bureau of Administrative Hearings, where he represented the Commissioner at hearings involving patient protection, nursing home operations, the New York State Medical Indemnity Fund, adult care facilities, and New York State’s WIC Program. Craig was also a key player in preparing for New York State’s first hearings concerning the Medical Marijuana Program.
