James assists clients with a wide range of labor and employment issues in all phases of litigation including pre-trial motions, discovery demands and trial.
Prior to joining Bond, James was an assistant district attorney in the Nassau County District Attorney’s Office where he was first chair in taking a bench trial to verdict, conducted pre-trial evidentiary hearings, and prepared motions and accusatory instruments. Before that, he was a summer associate and law clerk with Nixon Peabody in New York City where he prepared memoranda of law and motions on various legal issues for multiple practices.

While in law school, James was the Managing Editor of the Family Court Review, was a champion of the Hofstra Mock Trial Competition and was recognized with Hofstra’s Gold Public Service Certificate for Dedication of over 750 hours to pro bono service. He was elected commencement speaker for the class of 2021.
