John is a litigation attorney who represents businesses, insurance companies and individuals in federal and state courts.
His practice focuses primarily on civil defense litigation, including breach of contract claims, insurance litigation and real property disputes. John also handles trust and estate litigation, including will contests, will construction proceedings, accounting proceedings and other related matters in Surrogate’s Court and Supreme Court.
John is also experienced in labor and employment law litigation and has contested ADA, ADEA, FLSA, FMLA, and Title VII claims.
Skilled in many aspects of litigation, including researching and analyzing complex legal issues, drafting motions and engaging in discovery, John has represented a wide range of clients at the pre-trial, trial and appellate level.
In addition to his practice, John donates a significant amount of time to the firm's pro bono initiatives, including the Syracuse City Court Eviction Defense Clinic and the McKinley Brighton School Pro Bono Clinic. John has also participated in the Federal Northern District Pro Bono program and has tried a federal jury trial under that program.
