As a commercial and construction litigator with a deep understanding of business disputes and construction issues, Joe represents a wide spectrum of clients in matters such as contract disputes, partnership disputes, business break-ups, and disputes regarding breaches of fiduciary duty and fraud.
Joe has significant experience representing institutional owners, as well as general contractors and subcontractors, in construction-related disputes. He has also assisted clients with property disputes and architectural and other professional malpractice claims. He represents clients in both state and federal courts, as well as in arbitrations and at mediation and has successfully represented clients both at trial and on appeal.
In addition to this significant business and construction litigation experience, Joe also assists clients with contract negotiation and drafting, including with respect to AIA construction contract documents.
Joe is also an American Arbitration Association-trained mediator and is qualified to serve as a neutral in mediations involving complex construction or commercial disputes.
