Profile

Lisa works with clients on a variety of higher education and labor and employment legal matters. Prior to joining Bond, Lisa served as the Meloy Law Fellow within the Office of General Counsel at New York University. In that role, she researched and assisted with a diverse range of matters involving Title VII, Title IX, the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), paid family leave laws, preparation for arbitrations, international labor laws involving unpaid internships, academic affiliation agreements, and New York State Division of Human Rights and Office for Civil Rights complaints. 

Lisa’s prior experience also includes legal extern- and internships with Barnard College, Office of General Counsel; Stony Brook University, Office of General Counsel; CUNY Central, Office of General Counsel; and the U.S. Department of Education, Office for Civil Rights. Through these experiences, she conducted legal research on complex issues within higher education and labor and employment, including sexual harassment training, workplace accommodations, the Clery Act, NYC Safe/Sick Leave and student conduct codes. She also performed document review and participated in mediations.
