Bond, Schoeneck & King, PLLC, a law firm of 300 attorneys in over 30 practice groups, is accepting applications for a full-time Paralegal to provide support to the real property litigation department in the Rochester, NY office. The ideal candidate will possess a high level of professionalism, effective communication skills, and will be able to multi-task and prioritize work as needed.
Level of Responsibility
Prepare draft pleadings;
Coordinate service of large-scale mailings in short time frames;
Correspond and communicate with clients, vendors, attorneys and parties representing themselves;
Maintain accurate up-to-date records;
Prepare for, attend, and facilitate a tax foreclosure auction;
Assist with residential real estate closings;
Prepare real estate tax transfer forms and deeds for closings; and
Maintain basic accounting records of funds received, due and paid.
Job Requirements
Background in Litigation or Real Estate preferred;
Maintain composure and sound judgment in high-pressure environments;
Must be an independent, proactive, organized and diligent worker and able to work with minimal direction;
Must be able to respond quickly and positively to shifting demands and opportunities;
Must be able to multi-task and handle voluminous workflow, work under tight deadlines, balance multiple, detailed tasks simultaneously, and prioritize appropriately;
Must be able to create positive working relationships and effectively communicate with all parties in the transaction;
Must demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
Must possess excellent writing and verbal skills; and
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.

This position's salary range is between $65,000 - $75,000 negotiable based on years of experience.
