Advanced NYS Leave Law Compliance Briefing Webinar (Downstate)

April 21, 2020 - April 22, 2020

In recognition of the current situation in New York regarding COVID-19, Bond has revised this webinar to encompass leave requirements associated with the virus. These include, but are not limited to, leave applicable to quarantine conditions, placing affected and potentially affected employees on leave, and leave for childcare situations. The webinar will also review the New York and federal proposed paid sick leave provisions applicable to COVID-19, keeping in mind that these laws are rapidly evolving.

In addition, the webinar will discuss how employers should best comply with numerous, and often conflicting, federal and state laws that provide employees with the right to take leave from work. Leaves for medical conditions, family care, maternity, paternity, workers’ compensation injuries, disability accommodations, jury duty, medical procedures, voting, military service, recovery from domestic violence and myriad other conditions and circumstances will each be discussed.

This program is designed for the human resource professional or in-house counsel who is responsible for managing compliance with leave laws and/or structuring policies and practices.

Please join us for this timely webinar, which will take place from 8:30 - 10 a.m. on each scheduled day.
