Bond, Schoeneck & King Attorney Brian K. Haynes Presents At North American Ironworker - Impact Conference In Orlando

Syracuse, NY: Brian K. Haynes, who is a Member (Partner) of Bond, Schoeneck & King and Co-Chair of the Firm's Tax Practice Group, was part of an expert panel at the February 2010 North American Ironworker-IMPACT Labor Management Conference in Orlando, Florida. The panel addressed the financial crisis of underfunded multiemployer pension funds and the impact such funding status has on contributing contractor employers under the Pension Protection Act. The Conference was attended by owners, contractors, unions, district councils, contractor associations, trust fund administrators and labor-management cooperative programs. Over 500 attendees were present.

Mr. Haynes will also be presenting a similar topic at the Ironworkers Attorney's Conference to be held in Washington, DC at the end of April 2010. Mr. Haynes was recently selected by Strathmore's Who's Who as the 2010 Professional of the Year for Employee Benefits Law.

Within his practice, Mr. Haynes specializes in collectively bargained plans and estate planning for qualified plans and IRAs. He is a graduate of New York University School of Law (LL.M., Taxation, 1984), Western New England College School of Law, (J.D., with honors, 1983), and Houghton College (B.A., with honors, 1980).
