Monster.com has added to its family of web sites and now features one dedicated to the Human Resources profession: www.HRGuru.com. This web site is a community for HR folk to share, learn and network.

In addition, HRGuru has contracted with www.Laborandemploymentlawblog.com, a blog created by WME Books and targeted to HR professionals and employers, to become a feature content provider for HRGuru. HRGuru will be using articles and information from the blog as well as from the book, What Every Business Manager And HR Professional Should Know About Federal Labor And Employment Laws as the primary content for its employment law category.

This recently published book is co-authored by Louis P. DiLorenzo of Bond, Schoeneck & King, and Sheldon I. London. Each of the 18 chapters centers on specific aspects of federal labor and employment law, and is a useful reference guide for both large and small organizations. Additional information on the book can be found at www.wmebooks.com.

Mr. DiLorenzo is the Regional Office Manager for Bond's New York City and Long Island Offices, and is a graduate of Syracuse University (B.A., 1973) and the University of Buffalo Law School (J.D., 1978). He represents employers and management in all aspects of labor and employment law. His areas of expertise include collective bargaining, workplace investigations, NLRB proceedings, labor audits, supervisory training, wage and hour issues, arbitration, jury trials in both state and federal courts, wage incentive plans, OFCCP audits and proceedings, employment litigation before the EEOC and the Human Rights Division and alternative dispute resolution techniques.

Mr. London has served as legal counsel to some of the leading national trade associations in the country and is the author of the earlier editions of this publication.
