By: Brittany J. Schoepp-Wong

As a follow-up to this week’s Business in 2025 webinar, Bond higher education attorney Brittany J. Schoepp-Wong talked about a major expansion to student data collection that is being proposed by the U.S. Department of Education (DOE). The expansion stems from an August 7 presidential memorandum that directed DOE to increase transparency in higher education admissions, and referenced the 2023 Supreme Court decision outlawing affirmative action in college admissions.

Topics covered during this week’s full webinar:

  • Title VI Admissions Data
  • Attorney General’s Proposed Rules for SAFE for Kids Act
  • New York Paid Sick Leave Refresher and Common Issues
