Employment litigation can often be a prolonged process that causes the diversion of valuable time and money from the business operations of the employer. As the employer’s counsel, knowing your procedural options is essential to a swift and complete resolution. In this session, we will review aggressive litigation techniques in the practice of defending against employment discrimination cases. We will review the pre-trial options of the motion to dismiss and motion for summary judgment; fee shifting; faithless servant doctrine counterclaims; sanctions for abusive tactics in discovery; as well as others. This session will explore the wide array of weapons to fight back against baseless discrimination suits.
