Presenter: John M. Bagyi

November 6, 2019

10 a.m. - 11 a.m.

This event is open to HANYS Members only.

This webinar will cover recent developments in New York State employment law that have expanded employee protections and compliance requirements for employers. This includes eliminating the requirement that harassment claims be “severe or pervasive” to be legally actionable, rules regarding restricting salary history inquiries as well as rules surrounding equal pay and prohibited discrimination related to traits associated to race, such as hairstyles.

This webinar will feature John M. Bagyi from Bond Schoeneck & King PLLC. Recognized by Human Resource Executive magazine as one of the nation’s most powerful employment attorneys, John Bagyi counsels and represents employers on labor and employment issues, helping them achieve and maintain legal compliance, while improving employee engagement and workplace productivity. He will provide participants with practical, real world advice, mindful of the need to balance the legal “ideal” with operational reality.
