Labor And Employment Law Attorney Michael D. Billok Joins Bond, Schoeneck & King's Albany Office

(Albany, NY) Bond, Schoeneck & King, PLLC (BS&K) is pleased to welcome Michael D. Billok to the Firm's Labor and Employment Law Practice. He is resident in the Firm's Albany office.

Mr. Billok has been heavily involved in employment counseling and litigation, and regularly represents employers in matters involving all aspects of the employment relationship. He has helped employers protect their trade secrets, as well as defend against claims of trade secret misappropriation. Mr. Billok has represented numerous clients through all stages of Occupational Safety and Health Administration ("OSHA") inspections and citations, including several sensitive, high profile matters. He is also a licensed patent attorney and has represented employers in patent litigation matters, from fact and expert discovery through summary judgment. He also has experience analyzing design and utility patents in order to counsel clients and defend against patent infringement actions.

Mr. Billok is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy (B.S., Physics, with distinction, 1996) and the Georgetown University Law Center (J.D., 2006), where he was elected to the Order of the Coif and served as an Associate Editor for the Georgetown Law Journal. From 1996 to 2004, Mr. Billok was a submarine officer in the United States Navy, where he served onboard the USS NEVADA (SSBN 733), followed by tours as an instructor at a nuclear prototype training unit and as a submarine manpower analyst under the Chief of Naval Personnel.
