Richard Pooler Joins Bond, Schoeneck & King

(Syracuse, NY): Bond, Schoeneck & King is pleased to announce that J. Richard (Rick) Pooler, Jr. has joined the firm’s Syracuse office in its environmental and energy practice.

Rick is an experienced environmental attorney who combines his engineering and legal experience to develop creative, yet practical, solutions for his clients. He has a demonstrated history of successfully resolving complex legal and compliance problems in a common-sense manner while balancing legal, technical, business and political perspectives. He is skilled in environment, health and safety (EHS) laws and compliance; auditing and internal investigations; whistleblower complaints; transactions and due diligence; emergency response; crisis management and project management. 

Prior to joining Bond, Rick served as Chief Environmental, Health and Safety Counsel for many years at Bristol-Myers Squibb and also has several years of experience as an environmental consultant. He is a graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (1977, B.S. in Environmental Engineering) and Syracuse University College of Law (J.D., 1980).
