Profile
Alison advises private and public sector employers across diverse industries – including healthcare, higher education, manufacturing, and municipal government – on all aspects of labor and employment law.
She regularly counsels clients on HR best practices and legal compliance with various employment issues, including hiring and terminations, employee leaves and accommodations, litigation risk management, wage and hour law, employee handbook policies, and internal investigations.
Alison also assists employers with the preparation and resolution of litigation and arbitration matters. She has experience defending claims of discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and other labor and employment-related disputes in state and federal courts, as well as before administrative agencies, including the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the New York State Division of Human Rights (SDHR), and the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB).
Her practice includes traditional labor law, where she represents management in grievance arbitrations, collective bargaining negotiations, and other matters involving unionized workforces.
Prior to joining Bond, Alison worked as an attorney for an international law firm where she advised clients on mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters.
