Profile

Lindsay represents clients in estate planning, estate and trust administration and estate controversies.

She provides solutions tailored to each client’s goals and objectives, including tax planning, elder law and long-term care issues, Medicaid planning, supplemental needs trusts and guardianship proceedings. Lindsay strives to guide each client through the planning process by coupling her legal knowledge with her experience handling complex family issues faced by many clients.

Lindsay provides customized estate plans by carefully listening to each client’s goals and concerns, and by working with the client to develop a strategy to transfer wealth in the most efficient manner, not only upon death but also during their lifetime.

Regardless of how carefully an individual plans, various factors often come into play preventing an estate plan from being administered as intended. Sympathetic to the fact that disputes are not only legally complex but evoke strong emotions, Lindsay utilizes tools cultivated by many years in Surrogate’s Court controversies and a background in social work to represent clients in intra-family disputes related to trusts, estates and guardianships.
