COVID-19 Update From Bond Management Committee Chairman (March 18, 2020)

March 18, 2020

By: Kevin M. Bernstein

Dear Clients,

I hope that you and your families are well and staying safe as the coronavirus situation continues to unfold. I wanted to update you on the actions we are taking since my last communication to you to ensure effective and timely client service while also taking important steps to protect the health and safety of our personnel, clients and the communities we serve.

Although it is no longer “business as usual” we have prepared for, and tested, our technology systems so that we can work from home and still be available to you 24/7. Tomorrow, we will begin a firm-wide work from home implementation but will maintain a voluntary skeletal crew in each office. Therefore, all our meetings, internally or with clients, will be held virtually, either online via video or phone conferences. We remain at your service to guide you through these uncharted waters and continue to serve your ongoing legal needs, without interruption.

For many of our clients, there are significant business and legal issues resulting from the many measures businesses and governments are taking to respond to this pandemic. We are here to guide you through some of these complex issues.

For up-to-date information, go to our Coronavirus page on our website for our latest legal advice surrounding this pandemic. You can also sign up for our weekly Tuesday Coronavirus webinar series covering a wide range of issues. In addition, we are holding frequent “breaking news” web briefings and publishing Information Memos on targeted issues as they arise.

We hope you remain healthy. Again, we value our relationships with you and the trust you put in us. Please reach out to the attorney with whom you regularly work if you have any questions or concerns. Amidst the chaos we take note of those in our communities, and in our own firm, who practice acts of kindness helping and supporting those in need and want you to know that we too are here to help.

Best Regards,
Kevin M. Bernstein
Chairman, Management Committee
