COVID-19 Update From Bond Management Committee Chairman (March 22, 2020)

March 22, 2020

By: Kevin M. Bernstein

Dear Clients,

I hope that you and your families are well and staying safe as the coronavirus situation continues to unfold. We know it is causing a lot of stress but firmly believe that, with our trust in one another and perseverance, we can navigate these challenging times together.

Bond offices, like most places of employment, are void of people. But our greatest asset—and the heart of our firm—is our people, who are well and keeping busy. I can “feel” the pulse of them collectively through our communications channels. They are collaborating, maybe more than ever, to provide you with sound guidance for hurriedly written laws designed to address the COVID-19 situation. Individually, and as a team, they continue to deliver effective and timely client service.

The technology systems we put in place so that we could work from home are working. All our meetings are being held virtually, either videoconference or phone conferences. We remain at your service without interruption.

For all our clients, there are significant business and legal issues resulting from this pandemic. We are here to guide you through these complex issues. As we previously communicated, for up-to-date information, go to our Coronavirus page on our website. You can also sign up for our weekly Tuesday Coronavirus webinar series covering a wide range of issues. In addition, we are holding frequent “breaking news” web briefings and publishing Information Memos on targeted issues as they arise.

Please reach out to the attorney with whom you regularly work if you have any questions or concerns.

I hope that you and your families are well, staying safe and remaining healthy. While this situation is disruptive in every way, working together, we can meet this challenge personally, professionally and as a country.

Best Regards,
Kevin M. Bernstein
