Sam works with employers on a variety of labor and employment matters. He provides research and guidance on federal laws including Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), Title VII and other civil rights matters.

In addition, Sam has assisted higher education institutions put together model strike plans and offers guidance on various related matters involving unions. Sam proactively works with his clients on their readiness for potential state and federal agency requests as well as their rights and responsibilities during investigations, including knowing what questions to ask, what types of investigations they can do, their entitlements during these investigations and employee interview parameters. He also assists clients in compliance matters with investigations. Sam has also assisted in the successful arbitration of an arts organization.
