Profile

Victoria assists clients with an array of data privacy and cybersecurity matters and is a Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US) through the ANSI-accredited International Association of Privacy Professionals. She advises clients from various industries on data privacy and cybersecurity laws and regulations, such as the NY SHIELD Act, HIPAA and Education Law §2-d.

Prior to joining Bond, Victoria was a legal intern for the New York Civil Liberties Union. There, she drafted legislative memoranda and facilitated lobbying meetings with members of the New York State Legislature regarding the decriminalization of low-level drug possession and the legalization of certain psychedelics. She also worked on strategies on how to educate the public pertaining to these topics.

Victoria has also gained experience as a law clerk, legal intern and summer associate at several New York City based firms. During her time in these roles, she drafted settlement packages, demand letters, motions and complaints in relation to personal injury and insurance matters. She also assisted with selecting arbitrators for both FINRA and AAA arbitrations and with investigating whether financial advising firms violated federal security laws and FINRA rules.

Victoria was also a 1L Summer Scholar within the Global Privacy Office at Pfizer. During this time, she researched and analyzed consumer privacy legislation and aided in developing a data privacy playbook that denotes GDPR guidelines and Pfizer’s actions to achieve regulatory compliance.
