Marketing & Design Coordinator

Bond, Schoeneck & King PLLC, a law firm of 300 attorneys in over 30 practice groups, is seeking a full-time Marketing & Design Coordinator to join our Syracuse or Buffalo office. This role expands beyond traditional graphic design—while design is a primary focus, the ideal candidate will be an active, versatile member of the Marketing Department, supporting firm-wide initiatives and contributing to a wide range of creative and operational marketing needs.
This position will bring our brand to life through polished, thoughtful design, while also supporting content, events, digital communications, and day-to-day marketing operations.
Position Responsibilities
Graphic Design & Creative Production (Primary Role)
- Conceptualize, design, and produce visually engaging print and digital materials, including newsletters, ads, event invitations, social media graphics, PowerPoint presentations, and custom collateral.
- Collaborate with our agency of record to develop and refine brand assets in alignment with the firm’s creative direction.
- Source, edit, and manage photos for use across marketing channels.
- Ensure consistency with brand standards across all materials and platforms.
Digital & Content Support
- Update and maintain website content such as attorney bios, practice pages, news posts, blogs, job listings, and event pages.
- Format and distribute firm communications, including internal memos, newsletters and blogs.
- Format documents across multiple platforms (PDFs, Word, blog posts, web articles).
Marketing Operations & Events
- Support in-person and virtual firm events by creating and packaging marketing materials.
- Gather and prepare event collateral (invitations, presentations, literature, bios, firm handouts, promotional items, etc.).
- Assist with new hire onboarding by preparing business card mockups, drafting bio previews, and coordinating photoshoots.
Vendor & Asset Management
- Manage, update, and order firm-branded materials including letterhead, business cards, notepads, and holiday cards.
- Coordinate with external vendors regarding print projects, promotional items, and website troubleshooting.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with the marketing team on firm-wide initiatives and be ready to step in wherever creative or operational support is needed.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, graphic design, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3–5 years of professional graphic design experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat), Microsoft Office, Canva, and comparable tools.
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Vuture) is preferred.
- A portfolio demonstrating design range, brand adherence, and strong attention to detail.
- Excellent eye for layout, typography, and visual consistency.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and offices.
- Creative, motivated, and independent, with a team-first mindset and an interest in supporting a broad range of marketing activities.

This position's salary range is between $60,000 to $70,000, negotiable based on years’ experience.
