Andrew is a Senior Associate in Bond’s Business Restructuring, Creditors’ Rights, and Bankruptcy practice group. He represents debtors, official committees of unsecured creditors, chapter 11 trustees, secured lenders, unsecured creditors, and other parties in interest in complex chapter 11 proceedings. His practice spans all stages of the restructuring process, including case strategy, cash collateral and debtor-in-possession financing, claims analysis, plan negotiation and confirmation, section 363 sales, and contested matters such as relief from stay, preference and fraudulent transfer litigation, among other bankruptcy-related disputes.

Andrew has significant experience in mass tort bankruptcies, fraud-related insolvencies, and commercial restructurings across a range of industries, including manufacturing, healthcare, retail, and nonprofit organizations. He has played leading roles in high-profile chapter 11 matters involving mass tort and legacy liability claims, healthcare restructurings, and complex commercial insolvencies, and he works with clients to develop practical strategies that align legal objectives with business realities.

  • Vanderbilt Minerals – Representing Debtor. Serving as co-counsel to a multi-state mining and minerals enterprise in its Chapter 11 case, strategically addressing over $117 million in legacy toxic tort and talc-related personal injury liabilities.
  • Del Monte, Inc. – Represented Largest Supplier of Debtor. Secured “Critical Vendor” designation and favorable payment terms for pre-petition claims. Formulated strategic motions to compel assumption or rejection decisions, mitigating multi-million-dollar post-petition manufacturing and capacity-reservation liabilities during high-stakes agricultural pack seasons. Represented client interests across competitive section 363 asset sales totaling $500 million involving global food and agriculture brands.
  • Crucible Industries – Represented Debtor. Served as counsel to a historic 100+ year-old specialty steel manufacturer in its chapter 11 restructuring and subsequent asset liquidation involving over $21 million in assets and multi-million-dollar secured debt.
  • Boy Scouts of America – Represented 4 Local Councils. One of the largest and most complex mass tort Chapter 11 cases in U.S. history. Secured channeling injunction protecting clients and advised on substantial contributions to a $2.6+ billion settlement trust.
  • M. Burton Marshall – Represented Creditors’ Committee. Complex $100 million Ponzi scheme Chapter 11 case involving nearly 1,000 defrauded individuals and multiple business entities. Successfully advocated for removal of debtor’s operational control over commercial real estate and business portfolios, securing appointment of an independent Chapter 11 Trustee to preserve estate value.
  • John R. Kearney – Represented Debtor. Subchapter V case in which obtained favorable decision on retention issue raised by U.S. Trustee. Decision featured in Bill Rochelle’s Bankruptcy Law Daily, a national bankruptcy newsletter.
