Profile

Brittany Schoepp-Wong is co-deputy chair of Bond’s higher education practice, where she advises colleges, universities, and other organizations on a wide range of complex legal issues. Brit provides trusted counsel to senior administrators on high-stakes reputational, financial, and compliance issues across nearly all aspects of university life.  Her practice is informed by over a decade of in-house experience, including most recently at New York University, where she served on its leadership team as Senior Policy Advisor to the President. She has also served in-house at the Fashion Institute of Technology and the Pennsylvania State University.

Brit is a strategic and practical thought partner in navigating issues facing both private and public higher education institutions. She has extensive experience in issues involving civil rights and nondiscrimination; student conduct; academic affairs; campus safety and emergency management; student health and wellness; admissions and student affairs; institutional governance; policy and training development; accreditation and regulatory compliance; development and alumni relations; and employment matters, including student employees. She has represented institutions in litigation, federal and state agency investigations, and regulatory matters. Brit has provided leadership on university-wide initiatives on disability inclusion and compliance, religious understanding, and promoting diverse perspectives through dialogue.
