Daniel also helps his clients protect their trademark rights by drafting and filing trademark applications, responding to office actions, filing declarations of use, and submitting post-registration documents. Daniel also counsels clients in the availability and registrability of proposed marks using various trademark searching tools prior to submitting applications for registration. Daniel is also experienced in managing foreign trademark portfolios for client seeking global brand protection.
Prior to joining Bond, Daniel practiced intellectual property law at an Am Law 200 firm in Buffalo, NY. During his education at the University at Buffalo School of Law, he worked in a variety of capacities for the University at Buffalo Technology Transfer Office. Daniel previously worked as an engineer for Amherst Systems, a subsidiary of Northrop Grumman. Daniel currently sits on the board of directors of Torn Space Theater, an innovative and avant-garde performance theater located in Buffalo’s historic East Side. Daniel previously co-founded Sugar City, a not-for-profit, multidisciplinary, community arts venue.
