Kirsten brings more than 15 years of firsthand experience to her school district, charter, and nonpublic school clients with a demonstrated track record of leading proactive systems initiatives including organizational restructuring, strategic planning and implementation, program and fiscal audits, human capital and labor, and results-based accountability for systems with budgets up to $700 million.
She has counseled superintendents and school boards on various matters focusing on building highly skilled cross-functional teams to achieve their organizations’ objectives. She has extensive school law practice experience including special education, receivership, student discipline, charter school law, PINS petitions and chartering.

Prior to joining Bond, Kirsten was the Senior Program Office for The Farash Foundation, overseeing the development and execution of multi-year strategic initiatives focused on increasing access to high quality education through investments and project management across charter schools and district sectors, colleges and universities and external partners. Kirsten has also held various leadership positions in research, non-profit agencies, charter schools as well as key positions in the Rochester City School District, first as Assistant Counsel and then as Special Assistant to the Superintendent & Chief of Student Support Services.
