Michael represents management in every facet of labor and employment law, and has experience in the college, university and public education, healthcare, communications, computing, utilities, engineering, manufacturing, buildings management, construction, book publishing, newspaper publishing, securities and financial services, banking, insurance, transportation, shipping, accounting, entertainment, maintenance, security and retailing sectors.

Michael has been has been appointed to various labor and employment Task Forces of the Governor and Lieutenant Governor of New York; served on Advisory Committees to the American Arbitration Association, the New York City Commission on Human Rights and the New York State Division of Human Rights; past member of the Second Circuit Credentials Committee of the American College of Labor and Employment Law Lawyers; current member of the New York State Bar Association Committee on Diversity and Inclusion and former member of Committee on Youth Outreach; current member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York Committee on Minorities in the Profession.

Michael is an active lecturer and author on labor and employment topics; past member of the Editorial Board of leading treatise on the Fair Labor Standards Act; and past Contributing Editor to major treatises on Labor and Employment Law and Alternative Dispute Resolution.
