January 14, 2019

(Syracuse, NY): Bond, Schoeneck and King attorney Michael I. Bernstein was asked by Chambers USA to be the sole Contributing Editor of the new Chambers USA Regional Guide to Employment Law. In addition, Bond authored the New York State chapter focusing on the application of federal law – and to a certain extent state and local law.

Thomas G. Eron, Bond’s Labor and Employment law chair, said “Chambers selects Contributing Editors based on their knowledge and leadership in the field. The invitation to participate in this guide is recognition, of Michael’s expertise, and our firm’s depth of industry Experience in New York State.”

As Contributing Editor, Bernstein authored the Guide’s introduction, and determined it’s overall structure by identifying the issues, trends, developments and related considerations, that each regional chapter would address in these times of a rapidly changing workplace. A Contributing Editor is ranked in Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business Directory as the best in their field. Bernstein has been ranked in Chambers USA since 2003. He is currently ranked as a Senior Statesman.

Bond attorneys Michael I. Bernstein, Louis P. DiLorenzo, Thomas G. Eron, Howard M. Miller, Thaddeus J. Lewkowicz, Joanna L. Silver, Dennis A. Lalli and Michael D. Billok, authored the New York chapter of the guide.

Each chapter of the Regional Guide, including the chapter on New York State, provides a current picture of employment issues, relationships, trends, developments, adjustment of disputes and other considerations a global entity should understand when determining whether or where to establish or enhance its presence in one or more of the regions of the USA.
