Rachel E. Kreutzer

Rachel works with clients on a wide range of labor and employment related matters. Prior to joining Bond, Rachel was an Assistant Corporation Counsel in the Labor and Employment Law Division of the New York City Law Department. In this role, she defended the City of New York, its agencies and employees in litigation arising out of the City’s role as employer, in state and federal court and before administrative agencies, handling a wide range of employment and labor law issues, including claims brought under Title VII, the ADEA, the ADA, the United States Constitution, pension and retirement law and other federal, state and local employment laws.

 

While in law school, Rachel worked full time for a busy defense litigation firm, held two judicial internships, and worked in the legal department of an institution of higher education.  She served as a Research Assistant for University Distinguished Professor Ruthann Robson, as a Student Attorney-Mediator, and as Executive Articles Editor for the City University of New York Law Review.   

Prior to law school, Rachel served as a Teach For America corps member in Tulsa, Oklahoma and in administrative educational leadership roles in Tulsa and in Brooklyn, New York.  Rachel’s six years in K-12 education, spanning traditional public and charter schools, as well as her higher education experience, uniquely position her to serve clients across the education sector.
