Paralegal

Date: March 10, 2026

Bond, Schoeneck & King, PLLC, a law firm of 300 attorneys in over 30 practice groups, is accepting applications for a full-time Paralegal to provide support to the real property litigation department in the Rochester, NY office.  The ideal candidate will possess a high level of professionalism, effective communication skills, and will be able to multi-task and prioritize work as needed.  

Level of Responsibility

  • Prepare draft pleadings;
  • Coordinate service of large-scale mailings in short time frames;
  • Correspond and communicate with clients, vendors, attorneys and parties representing themselves;
  • Maintain accurate up-to-date records;
  • Prepare for, attend, and facilitate a tax foreclosure auction;
  • Assist with residential real estate closings;
  • Prepare real estate tax transfer forms and deeds for closings; and
  • Maintain basic accounting records of funds received, due and paid.
     

Job Requirements

  • Background in Litigation or Real Estate preferred;
  • Maintain composure and sound judgment in high-pressure environments;
  • Must be an independent, proactive, organized and diligent worker and able to work with minimal direction;
  • Must be able to respond quickly and positively to shifting demands and opportunities;
  • Must be able to multi-task and handle voluminous workflow, work under tight deadlines, balance multiple, detailed tasks simultaneously, and prioritize appropriately;
  • Must be able to create positive working relationships and effectively communicate with all parties in the transaction;
  • Must demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Must possess excellent writing and verbal skills; and
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.

This position's salary range is between $65,000 - $75,000 negotiable based on years of experience.
