(New York, NY): The Bond, Schoeneck & King, PLLC law firm announced Richard G. Kass, Esq. has been recognized for his volunteer service by the Lawyers Alliance for New York, which is the leading provider of legal services for non-profit organizations that improve the quality of life in New York City. Mr. Kass was honored for his assistance to Pathways To Housing, a nonprofit organization founded in 1992, which serves one of the most disenfranchised populations in New York City -- people who are homeless, street-dwelling and mentally ill. His practice encompasses all aspects of Labor and Employment Law, in both the private and public sectors. He also has taught Labor and Employment Law at the State University of New York at Old Westbury as an adjunct professor.
Mr. Kass is a graduate of Yale University (B.A., summa cum laude, 1982) and Harvard Law School (J.D., cum laude, 1985), where he was Articles Editor of the Harvard Civil Rights and Civil Liberties Law Review.
