April 3, 2017
(Syracuse, NY): Bond, Schoeneck and King has named David Otte as chief operating officer, assuming administrative leadership of the 260-attorney law firm. Otte, formerly the chief administrative officer and chief information officer at Bingham Greenebaum Doll, will work with firm management on strategic initiatives to continue the firm’s growth across its platform of offices and among its more than 30 practice areas and industry groups.
“David comes to us at a key time in the life of our firm. He will work with firm management to make strides with our stronger Buffalo presence; capitalize on the firm's investment in intellectual property and photonics; bolster our national presence in labor and employment and collegiate sports; and support the new office in Saratoga Springs,” remarked Kevin M. Bernstein, chair of the firm's management committee. “In addition, David will work with our practice groups in health care, higher education, energy and cybersecurity, among other areas, to accomplish the firm's initiatives.”
Prior to Bingham Greenebaum Doll, Otte was chief information officer at the international firm of Sidley Austin. Otte received his B.S. in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and his MBA/MIS from DePaul University. Otte started April 3 and is resident in the firm’s Syracuse office.
