Bond Celebrates Shelley Sanders Kehl’s NACUA Life Membership Honor

Bond, Schoeneck & King is thrilled to announce that Shelley Sanders Kehl, retired member of the firm, is being recognized by the National Association of College and University Attorneys (NACAUA) with a Life Membership. The honor of Life Membership will be presented to Shelley at the 2025 NACUA Annual Conference in Seattle, Washington.

Throughout her distinguished career, Shelley has served on the NACUA Board of Directors, on NACUA committees, as co-coordinator of the New York NACUA Affinity Group for more than 25 years, and has presented at numerous NACUA Annual Conferences and at NACUA CLE meetings. She regularly lectures at the NACUA Lawyers New to Higher Education sessions. In addition to this year’s recognition, in 2018 Shelley was also recognized by NACUA with the Distinguished Service Award given to individuals who have provided extraordinary service to both NACUA and to institutions of higher learning over an extended period of time.

Shelley’s career specialized in the representation of colleges and universities, independent and charter schools, social service agencies, cultural organizations and nonprofit entities. She has been practicing law for more than 40 years.
