Bond Names Brian Butler as Managing Member and Colin Leonard as Deputy Managing Member of its Syracuse Office

(Syracuse, NY): Bond, Schoeneck & King is pleased to announce that Brian J. Butler has been named managing member of its Syracuse office along with Colin M. Leonard as deputy managing member. Butler and Leonard are the first to hold these positions in the firm’s founding office. They will work closely with the firm’s management committee, department heads and chief operating officer in their new roles.

According to Kevin Bernstein, chair of Bond’s management committee, “Brian and Colin are both excellent attorneys who possess the leadership traits important to manage the Syracuse office. Brian Butler is a litigator who represents clients in complex business and commercial litigation in federal and state courts as well as in arbitration. He is chair of the firm’s litigation department, which includes more than 60 attorneys located throughout the firm’s eight offices in New York State and its Naples, Florida office.

Colin Leonard is a management-side labor and employment law attorney who works with clients throughout Central New York, the Mohawk Valley and the Southern Tier of New York. His practice includes traditional labor-related work, including collective bargaining, labor arbitrations and agency matters before the NLRB and PERB. Colin also represents employers in federal and state anti-discrimination litigation.
